Overnight self-parking is $45/day for convention attendees.

Transportation from the Airport

The Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel is located approximately 25 miles from the Denver International Airport (DIA). Information on shuttle services, taxis, ride share, and bus transportation can be found on the Denver International Airport Website.

Denver has a flat-rate for their taxis:

Airport to Sheraton: $56 flat no matter how many people.
Sheraton to Airport: $51 flat, $1 extra for every additional passenger. No luggage fee, gate fee.

Denver’s Free MallRide Bus

The Free MallRide connects you to the sights and sounds of downtown Denver. MallRide buses operate along the 16th Street Mall providing access to great restaurants, shops, theatres, galleries, tourist attractions, and businesses. All rides are free, just hop on board! The Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel is along the MallRide bus route. Construction currently is taking place in phases along the bus route, during which time Free MallRide vehicles are operating on 15th and 17th streets to ensure RTD can continue to provide Free MallRide service to the area. ADA Accessibility Routes

Navigation around the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, particularly when moving between the Plaza Building (near the hotel registration desks and restaurants) and the Tower Building (where our convention will be taking place, along with most guest rooms) or when accessing the Mezzanine Level, requires negotiating around some stairs.

To avoid the stairs on the skybridge connecting the Plaza Building and the Tower Building, take the elevator behind the hotel registration desks down to the Concourse Level and follow signs to Tower Building where you can take the elevator back up to Level 2.

Hotel Reservations

Hotel Rooms at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel

Sigma Tau Delta’s special pre-tax group rate is $199/night for Single or Double bed rooms (single, double, triple, and quad occupancy). Use the room block registration link for the hotel block. These special rates will be available until March 7, 2023, or until the room block is full, whichever occurs first.

Please Note: A form of payment must be presented to the hotel at check-in for incidentals. $100 is taken out of debit cards and is held for credit cards. For debit cards, whatever is not used from the $100, the remaining balance is released back to the bank within 5-10 business days from your departure date. Holds on credit cards are released immediately on checkout day. Please plan accordingly.

Hotel Rooms at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel

The Sigma Tau Delta room block at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel is now closed. Due to a large convention taking place in Atlanta that ends on March 30, all Atlanta hotels in the vicinity of our event—including the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel—are fully booked for the night of March 30. While the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel does still have some availability on the other nights of our convention, they are encouraging convention attendees to make reservations in one of the nearby suburbs such as Buckhead or Perimeter for the one night and take the MARTA in for the convention.

For debit cards, whatever is not used from the $250, the remaining balance is released back to the bank on departure day. Depending on the bank, it could take up to 5-10 business days for the funds to become available on the account. Holds on credit cards are released immediately on checkout day.
