Brad Aaron Modlin

Brad Aaron Modlin wrote the forthcoming poetry book No Earth But This (Black Lawrence Press). It’s about worry, hope, laughter, and astronauts up there seeking a better world. He also wrote Everyone at This Party Has Two Names and the poem “What You Missed That Day You Were Absent from Fourth Grade.” His internationally viral work has been experienced over two million times in social media, podcasts, speeches, spiritual reflections, and elsewhere. Poetry, fiction, and nonfiction appear in The Pushcart Prize, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Prairie Schooner, The Slowdown, and Poetry Unbound. He holds an MFA and PhD in creative writing and has enjoyed years of teaching students—from beginners to grads—as they grow to love what they write. He has co-advised Sigma Tau Delta chapters (hooray!) and their literary magazines. He likes giving readings, visiting schools, and Zoom calls wherein he can wear a nice shirt plus pajamas. He teaches at Champlain College in Quebec.
