Sophia Sarigianides

Sophia Tatiana Sarigianides, PhD, is Professor & Coordinator of English Education at Westfield State University in Western Massachusetts. Her most recent book, Letting Go of Literary Whiteness: Antiracist Literature Instruction for White Students, co-authored with Dr. Carlin Borsheim-Black, won the 2022 Outstanding Book Award by the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education.

She studies, teaches, and writes about race, social class, and literature instruction.
