ROUNDTABLE EVALUATION CRITERIA

The evaluators reviewing roundtable submissions will be given the following criteria as guidelines:

Content Including Originality: Does the roundtable have a clear focus? Will its focus spark audience participation and discussion? Does it focus on either the common reader or the convention theme?

Audience Participation: Is the topic or structure a fresh and original approach? To what extent does the roundtable proposal lend itself to audience participation? Will the roundtable contributions provide a sufficient basis to generate audience discussion?

Structure: Is the roundtable well organized? Does the proposal clearly identify how the various participants will contribute to the roundtable format? Does it include participants from more than one chapter?

Research: Does the submission appear to have a solid grounding in scholarship and contain a definite list of sources/works cited? Do the sources seem credible and relevant to the abstract content?

Participants from Multiple Chapters: Does the roundtable consist of members from more than one chapter?
