RESEARCH IN THE ROUND EVALUATION CRITERIA

The evaluators reviewing Research in the Round proposal submissions will be given the following criteria as guidelines:

Audience Participation: Does your Research in the Round proposal lend itself to audience participation? Will this topic resonate with a wide number of students from different backgrounds?

Content Including Originality: Is your approach to the topic clear and focused? Are your questions engaging and applicable to more than one area of interest?

Structure: Is your Research in the Round proposal well organized? Are your questions open-ended and easy for student participants to understand?

Creativity: Are your topic and questions flexible enough to encourage discussion?

Research: Does the Research in the Round proposal situate your topic as deserving of further exploration? If you have already done any research on this topic, is that evident in the proposal itself?
