Research in the Round Evaluation Criteria

The evaluators reviewing Research in the Round proposal submissions will be given the following criteria as guidelines:

Content Including Originality: Does the Research in the Round proposal have a clear focus? Is the topic or structure a fresh and original approach? Does it focus on either the common reader or the convention theme?

Audience Participation: To what extent does the Research in the Round proposal lend itself to audience participation? Will its topic appeal to a wide number of students from different college programs?

Structure: Is the Research in the Round proposal well organized? Are its questions well-worded and easily understandable to student members?

Research: Does the Research in the Round proposal appear to have a solid grounding in scholarship and does it contain any sources/works cited? Do the sources seem credible and relevant to the content?
