2020 Advertising Opportunities

Promote activities to thousands of English honor students!

Sigma Tau Delta’s annual international convention offers a rare opportunity for organizations to promote to 1,100 upper-level English honor students from across the US and abroad.

Convention attendees are excited about English, and over the course of the 3 1/2-day event present their original works and share their enthusiasm for English language, literature, and writing. Many plan to further their education and are actively seeking graduate and post-graduate opportunities.

Reach your target audience at the convention and beyond!

  • Convention direct email campaigns reach over 18,000 current student members and 1,500 faculty advisors in 900 college and university chapters in the US and abroad.
  • Sigma Tau Delta’s englishconvention.org website receives over 15,000 unique visitors every year; 53% engage the convention site multiple times.
  • Bronze, Silver, and Gold Sponsorship banner ads will be featured prominently on the 2020 English Convention mobile app, providing information and engagement for 1,100 attendees before, during, and post convention. The 2019 Convention app ran 85,200 banner impressions receiving 397 taps from 683 active users.
  • Copies of the printed convention program will be distributed to 1,200 student and faculty attendees. The full program also will be posted on the convention website.
  • Showcase your program to our 2020 Convention attendees with a tabletop display at the convention on Thursday, March 26, 2020. Limited tables will be available.

Start-Up Level ($300)

  • Black and white, 1/4 size interior convention program ad (3-3/8 x 4.667″)

Tabletop Displays ($50/$100)

  • Tabletop displays may feature programs/opportunities offered by your institution/business
  • Displays will be for one day at the Convention hotel: Thursday, March 26, 2020, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • A 6’ skirted table with 2 chairs will be provided
  • Add-on an exhibit table to any advertising package for an additional $50
  • The cost to exhibit without an advertising package is $100

Ads will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis through November 30, 2019, or until all advertising space is gone, whichever comes first.

STEP 1: Request Your Ad Placement

Begin web advertising now to take full advantage of convention website, app, and email campaign exposure. Send a request to secure your ad to [email protected].

STEP 2: Secure Your Ad Placement

Payment Deadline is November 30, 2019
You will receive an invoice from the Sigma Tau Delta Central Office due 30 days from issue or by December 2, whichever comes first. Your payment will secure your ad placement.

STEP 3: Submit Materials

Submission Deadline is November 29, 2019
After payment has been made, attach the following print and digital promotional materials in an email to [email protected].

  1. Print Ad for the Convention Program Book
    Submit your camera ready print ad in a PDF or tiff format. The convention program book will be posted in PDF format on the englishconvention.org website; 1,300 program books will be printed and distributed to 2020 Convention attendees.
  2. Digital Advertising Materials
    Your online banner ad and logo will appear on the English Convention App and on englishconvention.org.
    • An image of your square logo format in jpg, png, or PDF
    • A full color banner for the convention app for Bronze, Silver, and Gold advertisers (640 x 150 pixels AND 552 x 150 pixels in jpg or png)
    • A web link to the program you are advertising
  3. Tabletop Display
    Tabletop displays on Thursday, March 26, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. located in a prime meeting space location at the Rio All-Suite Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. A 6’ skirted table and 2 chairs will be provided. Further details regarding display set-up and take down times will be provided when space has been reserved.
