Kris Kleindienst, co-owner of Left Bank Books (the official bookseller for the 2019 Sigma Tau Delta Convention), offers a brief introduction to “Literary St. Louis”—past, present, and future—and fills us in on some important “Work in Progress.” Left Bank Books, at the southwest corner of Euclid and McPherson, provides a literary anchor to the Central West End’s “Writer’s Corner,” which celebrates William S. Burroughs, Kate Chopin, T. S. Eliot, and Tennesee Williams.
